1st Day: Upon arrival in Pigeon Forge, TN, we will check into our home for the next two nights. You'll have some free time this afternoon to enjoy this beautiful city in the Smokies. This evening, be prepared for an evening of fun and exciting performances at Dolly Parton's Stampede in Pigeon Forge! Get ready for a spectacular show featuring friendly competition, thrilling horse riding stunts, and dazzling special effects. You'll be entertained by phenomenal music productions, including an aerial performance set to an original song written and recorded by Dolly Parton herself. All this, while you enjoy a mouthwatering four-course feast, capped off with a delicious dessert. The remainder of the evening is free. (D)
2nd Day: This morning, we embark on a Pink Jeep Tour, traveling along Little River and up the newest section of the Foothills Parkway, touted by many as “the prettiest drive in America”. We will pass through Wears Valley and learn about the rich history of early settlements and the lumber mills that hit the mountain hollers like a runaway train. We will stop at overlooks for awe-inspiring panoramas of the highest peaks in the eastern United States. We will close out the tour with a thrilling, off-road adventure on private land that will leave you wanting more! The excitement continues tonight as we see real-life lumberjacks and have a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet at Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud! Get ready for side-splittin’ comedy, crowd interaction, and jaw-dropping feuding between the Dawson and McGraw lumberjack families.(B, D)
3rd Day: Following breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Alcatraz East Crime Museum. Here, you can explore American history from a different perspective in their five unique galleries that burrow deep into criminal profiles, the penal system, victim’s stories, crime scene investigation, crime prevention, and law enforcement. You'll see authentic pieces used as evidence in well-known criminal cases like the famous white Ford Bronco, along with other fascinating artifacts, including John Dillinger's Essex-Terraplane and Al Capone's rosary. As our inspiring adventure comes to a close, we depart for home stopping for lunch on our own en route. Arriving back approximately 8:00 PM. (B)
