1st Day: Today, we begin our journey traveling through Virginia and West Virginia as we make our way to Berlin, Ohio. Upon arrival, we will enjoy an Amish Feast in an Amish home before checking into our hotel for the evening. (D)
2nd Day: Enjoy a country breakfast at the hotel before boarding the coach and travel to Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. We will spend the afternoon exploring Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. Tonight, we'll have some free time to explore before ending our day in the Dearborn area. (B)
3rd Day: After breakfast, we'll take a guided tour of Detroit, learning how the city grew and came to life. We'll see iconic spots like the Fox Theatre, Woodward Avenue, Comerica Park, Ford Field, Little Caesars Arena, Belle Isle, and more. This afternoon, we're heading to Royal Oak, Michigan, a Detroit suburb, for the Performance Park Classic Car Show. Keep an eye out as we travel Woodward Avenue – you'll see tons of antique and vintage cars participating in the Dream Cruise! The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day celebration of classic car culture, featuring over 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom collectors, and special interest vehicles. After visiting the Classic Car Show in Royal Oak, we will visit the town of Ferndale, where the Dream Cruise originated 31 years ago. In Ferndale, we will experience Mustang Alley, where hundreds of Ford Mustangs will be on display. This evening, we will take a sunset dinner cruise along the River aboard the Detroit Princess. We will enjoy a delicious meal while cruising, soaking in the skyline views of Detroit and Windsor, Canada. (CB, D)
4th Day: This morning, after breakfast, we will step back in time as we arrive at Hitsville U.S.A. for a tour of the Motown Museum. Following our museum tour, we will bid farewell to The Motor City and head south to Erlanger, Kentucky. We will travel through Cincinnati, Ohio, exploring the city's murals and riverfront park along the way to our overnight destination. The evening is free with dinner on your own. (CB)
5th Day: Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey back home with a brief stop at the Kentucky Horse Park on the way out. We will travel through Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia as we return to North Carolina. Arriving back approximately 7:00 pm. (CB)
