PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION 2025 

WITNESS HISTORY IN WASHINGTON, DC

2-DAY TRIP

 

1st Day: This morning we head to our Nation’s Capital. After lunch we will proceed to George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens. As our nation’s first president, George Washington is a timeless and inspirational hero to people around the world. At Mount Vernon, your self-guided tour will include the Mansion, gardens, and grounds. You can also visit Washington’s tomb, see the innovative Pioneer Farmer site with its 16-sided barn, the inspirational Slave Memorial, important outbuildings, lush gardens, and museums with exhibitions on Washington and Mount Vernon archaeology. After visiting Mount Vernon, we will check into our home for the night. The evening is free so we can get ready for a full day of act tomorrow.

2nd Day: This morning we will board the Metrorail to travel into DC to witness that grand American event that occurs every four years – The Presidential Inauguration. After the inauguration ceremony, we join everyone along Pennsylvania Avenue to view the President, the Vice President, Congressmen, Senators, Generals, and other dignitaries, all surrounded by colorful floats and bands. The Inaugural Parade starts at the Capitol and goes to the White House. After the parade, return to the motorcoach by Metrorail. Departing for home at 6:00 PM, after an exciting day in our Nation’s Capital. Rest and meal stops en route. Arriving back approximately 1:00 AM. (CB)
