Welcome aboard Royal Caribbean’s beautiful Liberty of the Seas! Departing Level Cross at 11:00 PM, we will be driving overnight directly to Cape Liberty, New Jersey. We will have breakfast and rest stops en route to New Jersey. Upon arrival at the port, we will board the ship, have lunch, and enjoy a wonderful afternoon before we set sail.
Boston, Massachusetts: Puritan Colonists from England founded the city of Boston in 1630. Old State House, the oldest public building in the area, dates back to 1713. The city is also home to many old cemeteries, including Copps Hill Burial Ground, and The Old Granary. The sidewalks of Boston mark the way of the Freedom Trail, a route that takes visitors to several historical locations including the Bunker Hill, the Charles River, The Old State House, and The King’s Chapel. And let’s not forget to mention that you’ll be in New England, and thus in the best location in the country to try clam chowder in all its delicious glory.
Portland, Maine: Experience big city excitement with small town charm in a city rich with history and culture. Here you will find picturesque cobblestone streets lined with Victorian-era buildings, a vibrant waterfront, one-of-a-kind shops and galleries, historical homes and museums, and plenty of restaurants.
Sydney, Nova Scotia: So much history in Sydney! You can visit the Fortress of Louisbourg, the Membertou Heritage Park, Cape Breton Centre for Heritage & Science, and many more. Or, take a walk along the Cape Breton Artisan Trail and visit with the artists in their studios. Don't miss the World's Largest Fiddle for a great photo-op!
Halifax, Nova Scotia: Halifax is the capital city of Nova Scotia, and also the largest city. Explore the hilltop fortress, the Citadel, and stroll the beautiful Victorian-style public gardens. Halifax is steeped in history and a must-see area.
Saint John, New Brunswick: Historic Saint John is where you can marvel at the beautiful Bay of Fundy which has the highest tides in the world, and a natural phenomenon called Reversing Falls. This harbor town is home to a variety of fascinating marine life. We will arrive back home at approximately 5:30 pm.
