Guided Tour plus Time on Your Own

1st Day: This morning we head to our Nation’s Capital with breakfast and lunch stops (on your own) along the way. Upon arrival, we will have a professionally guided tour of Washington, DC. We will see the following sites: National WWII Memorial, photo stop at the U.S. Capitol, National Archives, drive by Embassy Row, drive by National Cathedral, photo stop at the White House, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and more. Evening is free at the hotel.

2nd Day: After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Washington, D.C. and drop the group in the area of the Smithsonian Institute. You will be free to do as you please – visit a favorite attraction or museum, enjoy a guided tour on a trolley or double-decker bus, take a sightseeing cruise, shop, and more! There is so much to see and do including: the Smithsonian Museums, Capitol Building, White House, Holocaust Museum, Museum of the Bible, National Museum of African American Heritage and Culture, all the monuments and memorials, and so much more. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has rail and bus routes if you wish to travel to other parts of the DC area that are not within walking distance. You can spend the day as you choose. (Note: Admission fees to any attractions or tours you choose to do are not included.) Arrival back is approximately 10:30 PM. (CB)
