1st Day: Upon arrival in Lancaster, Pennsylvania we will check into our home for the next two nights.
2nd Day: This morning, we’ll meet our local guide to travel the back roads and hopefully get to see the Amish working in the fields. Our guide will lead us into the countryside and talk about the Amish customs and traditions. We’ll be passing by several one-room schoolhouses, which are still being used today by the Amish children. Maybe we’ll be lucky enough to see Amish horse and buggies clip-clopping down the roads. Next, we’ll head to the Kitchen Kettle Village to enjoy lunch on your own. Stroll through the village of 42 shops and restaurants. Next we will visit the Bird-in-Hand Farmer’s Market - a delightful country shopping experience! After a delightful day, our dinner stop will be a smorgasbord. After dinner, we will go to the Sight & Sound Theatre to see Daniel. Taken from his people, Daniel is exiled far from home in the powerful kingdom of Babylon. Now this faithful servant must navigate his new life inside a palace filled with golden statues and shifting empires. As royal pressures mount, Daniel is faced with a dangerous choice. 3rd Day: This morning we will board the coach for Hershey’s Chocolate World. Enjoy Hershey’s Great American Chocolate Tour Ride. Follow the cocoa beans on a journey from the tropical rainforest to the SWEETEST PLACE ON EARTH – Hershey, Pennsylvania! Also, enjoy a FREE sample of a Hershey’s product at the end of the tour. Next, we depart for home, arriving back approximately 8:30 PM. (CB)
