1st Day: Upon arrival in Cumberland Falls, KY, we will check into our home for the night. This afternoon we will visit Cumberland Falls, located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Known as the “Niagara of the South,” the waterfall forms a 125-foot wide curtain that plunges 60 feet into the boulder-strewn gorge below. The mist of Cumberland Falls creates the magic of the Moonbow, only visible on a clear night during a full moon. This unique phenomenon appears nowhere else in the Western Hemisphere. Dinner is also included at the Cumberland Falls Lodge tonight. (D)
2nd Day: This morning we will head towards Pigeon Forge to visit the Titanic Museum Attraction, an interactive museum containing 400 artifacts. While on your self guided tour you can walk up the Grand Staircase, steer the ship, and even feel the coldness of 28 degree water. Touch a real live, growing iceberg and hear actual survivor stories. Within the Discovery Room you can look at the photos of John Joslyn’s dive to the Titanic’s resting place. Following our visit to the museum, we will continue on to the Bush's Visitor Center in Dandridge, TN, where they're "making the world beautiful, one bean at a time." We will have lunch and a self-guided tour of the museum. Be sure to visit the gift shop and buy yourself some 'Bean Swag'. Arriving back approximately 9:30PM.
