New York City Special

HAMILTON on Broadway!

1st Day: We are en route to New York City (the Big Apple). Evening is free for your enjoyment.

2nd Day: Today we have a guided tour of the Big Apple. Sights you will see on this tour are: Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Madison Square Garden, Battery Park, Time Square, and much, much more. You’ll have some free time this afternoon and evening to explore NY on your own - go shopping at Macy’s, see Rockefeller Center, maybe spend some time at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - it’s up to you!

3rd Day: You’ll have free time again this morning to continue exploring the wonderful city of NY before the main event this afternoon - Hamilton on Broadway! Winner of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and 11 Tony Awards, this show is the one to see.  Critics have nothing negative to say about this award winning show and cast - and nothing compares to seeing a live performance on Broadway in New York.  The evening is free for your enjoyment.

4th Day: Depart the hotel for Washington DC.  This afternoon we will have a professionally guided tour of our Nation’s Capital, with such sights as: National WWII Memorial, photo stop at the U.S. Capitol, drive by Embassy Row, drive by the Washington Monument, photo stop at the White House, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial. Following the tour, we will check into our home for the night.

5th Day: Depart the hotel for Mt. Vernon, home of the first president of the United States - George Washington.  There is so much to see here at Mt. Vernon between the mansion and the gardens, grounds, and museums.  You won’t know where to look at first!  Next we head to another historic landmark and home of another president of the United States - Monticello.  Monticello is Thomas Jefferson home. Perched on a mountaintop overlooking the city of Charlottesville, Monticello is a majestic reminder of Jefferson’s creativity and talent. No other home in the United States more accurately reflects the personality of its owner than Monticello, Jefferson’s architectural masterpiece and beloved mountaintop home. We depart Monticello for home, ending a historic visit to New York and Washington DC.  Arrival home is approximately 10PM. (B)
