From General Oglethorpe to characters and places in “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,” your tour will transport you through time. Tonight, we will go to the Historic Savannah Theatre. Savannah Live is a high-energy variety show that features everything from “Pop” to “Broadway” and “Motown” to “Rock & Roll.” It is the #1 attraction in Savannah and features a rockin’ live band and eight singers. It is sure to be fun! Lodging for the next two nights will be in the Historic District area.
2nd Day: This morning we visit The Davenport House, an 1820 Federal-style dwelling built by artisan Isaiah Davenport. Learn about the history of Savannah, her port, modern day and past, and see the statue of “the waving girl.” Come ready to relax and feast on a delicious buffet all while cruising along the scenic Savannah River. The buffet features honey glazed pork loin, southern fried chicken, Chef’s special station, creamy squash casserole, sweet potato souffle, fresh fruit, assorted salads and much more!!
