The North Carolina Blueberry Festival is Burgaw’s annual community celebration. Held on the third Saturday in June, the Blueberry Festival provides an opportunity for people to enjoy a full day of family entertainment while experiencing the southern hospitality of a small town. More than 30,000 people are estimated to attend the annual event. The Festival has over 20 events ranging from entertainment to a car show, a street fair, recipe contest, special exhibits, and a variety of other events. Enjoy Fresh Blueberry Sales from Local Blueberry Farms, Food Vendors, Arts & Crafts, Cape Fear Model Train Show (located inside the Historic Burgaw Depot), and Live Music all day at the Main Stage. You’ll find something for the entire family! Departing for home later this afternoon, arriving back at approximately 9:00 PM.
