Smoky Mountain Culinary Tour

Cooking Demonstrations at Paula Deen’s Kitchen and Wildwood Grove, Dinner in Secret Dining Room at The Titanic and More

1st Day: We head to the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee today. En route we’ll stop at the Bush Beans Visitor Center, located in the original A.J. Bush & Company General Store. See the Bush’s Theater, featuring Jay Bush and his dog Duke. Take a walk through a giant can of Bush’s Baked Beans, showing the bean’s journey from beginning to end. Have your picture made with Duke. Learn about the original canning process in 1908. In the Old-Fashioned General Store you can buy goodies, gifts, souvenirs and Bush’s products. Lunch is also included and you can enjoy homemade dishes and Southern specialties. Continuing on to Pigeon Forge, TN, we’ll check into our home for the next two nights. This evening, enjoy a Food and Wine Pairing by Applewood Farmhouse and the Apple Barn Winery. Applewood serves down-home southern cooking, family style, in the traditional way with lots of fixins’ and plenty of flavor. Following dinner, we’ll head to the Country Tonite Show, providing the best in quality entertainment with singing, dancing, comedy, gospel, American patriotism and more. From old country to new country, this show has it all. (L, D)

2nd Day: Today, we’ll head to Dolly Parton’s Dollywood, considered one of the world’s premier theme parks. It features rip-roaring rides, delectable fare, and stellar entertainment—all surrounded by breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. From live artists performing country, southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music, to master craftsmen showcasing glass blowing and blacksmithing, Dollywood is brimming with the rich heritage and artistry of the Smokies. We’ll also enjoy a Lunch Cooking Demonstration at Wildwood Grove inside of Dollywood. This evening you will experience a night of elegance and Fine Dining aboard the RMS Titanic, in their private, secret dining room! Plus, take a tour of the museum and see more than 400 priceless artifacts and treasures on two decks, walk the Grand Staircase, sit in a full-sized lifeboat and hear actual survivor stories, touch an iceberg, and more. Following dinner, we will head to the Smoky Mountain Opry, the area’s largest musical variety show featuring music from Big Band Swing through today’s country. See the most talented cast of singers, dancers, comedians, and musicians the Smokies has to offer! From Country hits old and new, yesterday’s Disco, Jivin’ Swing, Movie Favorites, and a little Motown! (CB, L, D)
