Join us as we depart Level Cross at 8:00 AM for Charleston, South Carolina. We will have lunch and rest stops en route. Upon arrival in Charleston, we will board the ship and enjoy a wonderful afternoon before we set sail at 6:00 PM.
We first visit Freeport, where the laid-back atmosphere makes it the perfect port to relax and unwind. The sun drenched shores feature sophisticated shopping, sizzling nightlife, delicious Caribbean cuisine and much more. The pristine white sand, turquoise waters, gentle surf and exotic marine life provide a paradise for any beach aficionado.
Sailing to Cuba is a little different than visiting other island destinations on a cruise. Havana is unique, and the difference is about more than just the history or politics of the place. There are extra U.S. government requirements that need to be met when cruising to Cuba. The good news: Carnival can help with the process. One of the easiest ways to become eligible is to purchase a Cuba shore excursion from Carnival. There are a variety of shore excursions that fulfill this requirement. Also, a Cuban Visa, which can be purchased for $75 through Carnival, and a Passport are required for this cruise. All requirements met, then we’re ready to learn the dance moves, see the flashy classic cars, enjoy the rum and cigars!
Arriving back in Charleston, we will board the motorcoach for home. Rest and meal stops en route. Arriving home approximately 5:00 PM.
