Daytona Beach Winter Getaway

Including Savannah, Amelia Island & Charleston

1st Day: This morning we will head to Savannah, Georgia for our overnight stay. The city of Savannah inspires visitors with its quaint cobblestone streets and majestic architecture. Lodging will be in the Historic District area. The afternoon and evening will be free for your enjoyment. You’ll have plenty of free time to look around the beautiful Historic District and riverfront area.

2nd Day: Today we will head to beautiful St. Augustine. We will board the St. Augustine Sightseeing Train that will cover over seven miles, and see dozens of historic sites, such as Castillo De San Marcos and The Fountain of Youth. After our tour, you will have some free time to look around and have lunch on your own. After lunch we’ll head to Daytona Beach, our home for the next two nights. (CB)

3rd Day: Today is free for you to do as you wish in Daytona Beach! For those that wish, we will take you to the boardwalk area. There’s something nostalgic about a boardwalk beach experience. The boardwalk and pier is focused on two important parts of every vacation – fun and food. A beach trip isn’t complete without time spent at the beach. Choose your place in the sand along 23 miles of beach! (CB)

4th Day: This morning we will make our way to Charleston, SC. Our first stop will be at beautiful Amelia Island, where we will have a guided tour of the area. Located just off the coast of northeast Florida, Amelia Island is easy to reach, but hard to forget. With 13 miles of beautiful beaches, abundant native wildlife, and pristine waters, this barrier island has long been a beloved destination for visitors and residents alike. After the tour we will travel to Charleston, our home for the night. The evening is free for your enjoyment. (CB)

5th Day: This morning, enjoy free time in Historic Charleston. Charleston is known for its Historic District, enjoy fine museums, galleries, boutiques, and restaurants, while experiencing the unique charm of this world-class city. Lunch is included at Hyman’s Seafood, a Charleston landmark. After lunch, we will head for home. Arriving back approximately 6:00 PM. (CB, L)
