2nd Day: This morning we will visit Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Elvis Presley’s beloved home allows visitors to step back in time to see the exuberant lifestyle of “The King of Rock’n Roll.” A unique new part of the tour is the Elvis Experience Tour, which includes the Entertainer Career Showcase Museum & Elvis Discovery Exhibits. Also included is the Elvis Presley Auto Museum. Walk down a landscaped highway, surrounded by 22 vehicles that were owned by Elvis. From luxury limited editions to sporty supercycles, Elvis loved vehicles of all kinds. Featured in this attraction are his legendary 1955 Pink Cadillac, his Harley Davidson motorcycles, plus personal items such as his leather cycle jackets, clips from home movies, and more. After our tour of Graceland, we will go to Beale Street, one of America’s most famous streets, where W. C. Handy first captured on paper the blues of the Mississippi Delta. Beale Street includes restaurants, gift shops, boutiques, parks, and nightclubs, as well as the Beale Street Police Museum, A. Schwab’s Dry Goods Store, and the W. C. Handy Home. 3rd Day: This morning we will travel into Nashville. Upon arrival, we will visit the Historic RCA Studio B, located in the center of Nashville’s famous Music Row. Experience the music and magic of the studio and take a guided tour that is home to over 1,000 hits and played a major role in American music. Dozens of country and pop stars made recordings here, primarily from 1957 to 1977, including Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride. Next, we’ll tour the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The museum, called the “Smithsonian of country music” because of its unrivaled collection, has 350,000 square feet of dynamic state-of- the-art galleries, archival storage, education classrooms, retail stores, and special event space boasting stunning downtown views. In the museum’s core exhibition, Sing Me Back Home: A Journey Through Country Music, visitors are immersed in the history and sounds of country music, its origins and traditions, and the stories and voices of many of its honored architects. The story is revealed through artifacts, photographs, and text panels, with a rich overlay of recorded sound, vintage video, and interactive touchscreens. You will have some free time in Downtown Nashville to enjoy lunch on your own, shopping, attractions, museums, galleries and more. Later this afternoon we will check into our home for the night.
