1st Day: Depart this morning for Historic St. Augustine, FL, America’s oldest city. Upon arrival we will check into our home for the next two nights. Evening is free.
2nd Day: We will depart for Orlando this morning to enjoy the Holy Land Experience. The Holy Land Experience brings together the sights and sounds of the world of the Bible in a unique and interactive way unlike anywhere else. It is a living, biblical museum that takes you 7,000 miles away and 2,000 years back in time to the land of the Bible. From the moment you pass through the gates of our walled city, you will be immersed in ancient Jerusalem. The structures and exhibits characterize the style, architecture, and settings that existed in the Holy Land 2,000 years ago. The Garden Tomb, Qumran Dead Sea Caves, Great Temple and Plaza, Jerusalem Model, and Wilderness Tabernacle are all intricately detailed, both inside and out, to provide you with a clearer understanding of their biblical significance. The history of the Bible comes alive through presentations about the significance of the Garden Tomb, the Qumran Caves, the Great Temple, the layout of the city of Jerusalem, and much more! But above all, beyond the fun and excitement, we hope that you will see God and His Word exalted and that you will be encouraged in your search for enduring truth and the ultimate meaning of life. Returning to St. Augustine after a wonderful day at the Holy Land Experience. (CB)
3rd Day: This morning we will have a tour of St. Augustine aboard a sightseeing train. Enjoy a fully narrated Historical Tour of the Nation’s Oldest City. The open-air sightseeing train covers over 7 miles and visits dozens of historic sites. Departing for home after the tour, with rest and meal stops en route. Arriving back approximately 9:00 PM. (CB)
