You’ve earned a break from the weekly grind! Our first stop is the stunning Shelton Vineyards. Tucked away in Dobson, North Carolina, lies one of the largest family-owned estate wineries on the East Coast. As you walk onto the 380-acre estate, the air smells faintly of sweet oak barrels. An unforgettable afternoon of wine, laughs, and celebration awaits as we’ve booked a premium tour to go behind the scenes (including their incredible subterranean barrel cave!), followed by a private tasting of their award-winning wines. The rolling hills, crisp glasses of estate-grown wine, and a wonderful lunch at the Harvest Grill. No rush, no stress—just good drinks and great company. Our next stop will be Serre Vineyards, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Serre Vineyards combines a European-inspired aesthetic with North Carolina's rolling farmlands to offer high-elevation wine tastings while enjoying panoramic mountain views. Serving a wide variety of dry reds, crisp dry whites, sparkling wines, and sweeter selections, your tasting will not disappoint! Our next and last stop of the tour is The Round Peak Winery, Cidery and Brewery. This highly versatile, complete destination for wine, craft beer, and hard cider is a wonderful finale to the day as it satisfies all palates by offering distinct in-house beverage lines produced on-site, including their fabulous wines. Round Peak offers French and Italian varieties; their dry and semi-dry estate wines include Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and they are one of only two North Carolina wineries growing the rare Nebbiolo grapes. They craft specialized hard ciders focusing on single-varietal heirloom apples and custom blends sourced from local North Carolina orchards. Their production features a barrel-fermentation program using wine and bourbon barrels, producing distinct styles like Pear Cider (Perry) and Asian Pear cider.
