Obama Presidential Center Extended

Featuring Chicago & Louisville

1st Day: Today we will begin our journey to Chicago, IL, spending our first night in Dayton, OH.

2nd Day: This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our journey to Chicago, where we will tour The Obama Presidential Center, a museum, library, and education project to commemorate the presidency of Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States. Get an up-close look at the life of the Obamas in the White House and explore the moments that shaped President and Mrs. Obama. Other parts of the campus include a community athletic facility, a landscaped public park, gardens, and a playground. The museum experience highlights the successes and challenges from the campaign trail to the Obama administration, and inspires guests to make changes in their own communities. After the tour, we will depart for the Chicago Riverwalk for sightseeing and dinner on your own. We will then check into the hotel for the evening. (CB)

3rd Day: This morning we will have a 4-hour guided tour where you will see iconic Chicago landmarks like the Cloud Gate Sculpture known as “The Bean”.  Next, we will skip the crowded sidewalks and see the city's legendary architecture from the best seat in the house - the river. This River Boat Cruise will take you through the heart of the city on the Chicago River. We will then stop for a classic Chicago style pizza dinner at Giordano’s. (CB,D)

4th Day: After breakfast at the hotel, we will experience the impressive panoramic views of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan from 1,030-feet above the famed Magnificent Mile at the 360 Chicago Observation Deck. We will then depart for Louisville, stopping at Joe Huber's Family Restaurant for a wonderful dinner along the way.  Upon arrival in Louisville, we will check into our hotel for the night. (CB, D) 

5th Day: After breakfast, we will visit Muhammed Ali Center. A multicultural museum and education center dedicated to the life, legacy, and enduring values of "The Greatest." You get to see the actual torch Ali used to light the flame at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games—one of the most emotional moments in sports history. Afterward, we will head for home, arriving at approximately 9:00 PM. (CB)
