The Birthplace of Country Music

1st Day: Today we journey to Nashville, Tennessee - Music City, USA; the Birthplace of Country Music; the Hot Chicken Capital - and home of the Grand Ole Opry! We will not be making a breakfast stop this morning, so please be sure to eat before you board. Upon arrival in Nashville, we will check into the Gaylord Opryland Resort, our home for the next two nights. Dinner is on your own in the area.

2nd Day: After breakfast on your own, we will depart for the Historic RCA Studio B, located in the center of Nashville’s famous Music Row. Experience the music and magic of the studio and take a guided tour. The studio is home to over 1,000 hits and played a major role in American music. We will continue on to some of Nashville’s other hot-spots: the Parthenon, Marathon Village, Tennessee Map Village, and the State Capitol. Next is free time to have lunch on your own. Be sure to take a walk on the Honky Tonk Highway!  In the afternoon we visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, home to priceless artifacts, dynamic exhibitions, Nashville’s legendary recording studio, and more. This evening we have reserved tickets to see the Grand Ole Opry. What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is today a live-entertainment phenomenon.

3rd Day: Step aboard the coach as we begin our journey back home. Sit back and unwind as you recall unforgettable country music with fellow travelers as our Nashville adventure comes to a close. We’ll arrive home at approximately 8:00 PM.
