From the moment you board the motorcoach until we return home, they will serve as your special Tour Directors, spreading Christmas cheer and making this a truly unforgettable holiday experience. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas lights with Santa and Mrs. Claus by your side as we visit the Tanglewood Festival of Lights! As one of the nation’s largest light shows, the Tanglewood Festival of Lights combines holiday and park themes in a breathtaking presentation. We will make a dinner stop (on your own) near Tanglewood, so you won’t need to eat before boarding. At the festival, more than 150,000 lights illuminate a two-mile route filled with magnificent displays and magical scenes. See a 15-foot Santa waving to passersby, Tanglewood golfers sinking their putts, elegant swans gathered at Skilpot Lake, an old-fashioned train filled with gifts arriving at the depot, proud tin soldiers guarding the gates of Toyland, majestic reindeer leaping overhead, and 100 flashing snowflakes decorating the windblown trees—and that’s only the beginning! From reindeer and tin soldiers to skiers and golfers, no other light show compares to the Tanglewood Festival of Lights. Returning home approximately 9:30 PM.
