Featuring Joshua at the Sight & Sound Theatre

1st Day: Today, we will make our way to Lancaster, PA. Upon arrival in Lancaster, we will check into our home for the next two nights. The evening is free.

2nd Day: This morning, we will have a guided tour of Amish country to learn about the Amish culture. Our guide will lead us into the countryside and talk about Amish customs and traditions. You may see several one-room schoolhouses which are still being used today by Amish children. We may even be lucky enough to see Amish horse and buggies clip-clopping down the roads. Our next stop is the Strasburg Railroad for a historic steam train ride through scenic Lancaster County aboard the oldest continually operating railroad in the nation. Lunch will be served while we’re riding the rails. Next, we head to the Sight & Sound Theatre to see Joshua. From the banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, Joshua is a miraculous adventure for the whole family. Journey alongside the people of Israel as they navigate their new-found freedom in an unforgiving wilderness. When Joshua is called to replace Moses as their faithful leader, tensions mount in the midst of dwindling supplies and approaching armies. With one last fortified city standing between the Israelites and the Promised Land, unexpected help emerges from behind enemy lines and Joshua’s trust in God’s plan is put to the ultimate test. Experience one of the most redemptive stories of the Bible as it comes to life in this brand new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatres. After the show, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner in the area before returning to the hotel. (CB, L, D)

3rd Day: After your continental breakfast, we will depart for Hershey’s Chocolate World where a local guide will board the coach for a 1-hour tour. We will explore the town's history & life story of chocolatier Milton Hershey. Our guide will share fun facts, laughter, history and chocolate samples! Next, we depart for home, arriving back at approximately 8:30 PM. (CB)
