1st Day: Today, we will make our way to Lancaster, PA. Upon arrival in Lancaster, we will check into our home for the next two nights. The evening is free.

2nd Day: This morning, we will have a guided tour of Amish country to learn about the Amish culture. Our guide will lead us into the countryside and talk about Amish customs and traditions. You may see several one-room schoolhouses which are still being used today by Amish children. We may even be lucky enough to see Amish horse and buggies clip-clopping down the roads. Our next stop is the Strasburg Railroad for a historic steam train ride through scenic Lancaster County aboard the oldest continually operating railroad in the nation. Lunch will be served while we’re riding the rails. Next, we head to the Sight & Sound Theatre to see Joshua. From the banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, Joshua is a miraculous adventure for the whole family. Journey alongside the people of Israel as they navigate their new-found freedom in an unforgiving wilderness. When Joshua is called to replace Moses as their faithful leader, tensions mount in the midst of dwindling supplies and approaching armies. With one last fortified city standing between the Israelites and the Promised Land, unexpected help emerges from behind enemy lines and Joshua’s trust in God’s plan is put to the ultimate test. Experience one of the most redemptive stories of the Bible as it comes to life in this brand new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatres. 3rd Day: Departing for home this morning, we’ll travel to Washington, DC, to the Museum of the Bible. This is the most technologically advanced museum in the world, providing guests with an immersive and personalized experience as they explore the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible. The 430,000-square-foot world-class museum features 40-foot-tall bronze doors at the entrance, a Digital Lobby Ceiling, a Performing Arts Theater, a roof-top Biblical garden and more. See the History of the Bible floor - follow the Bible from its origins as a series of writings accessible to only a small group of people, through many changes in form and adoption by multiple faith traditions, to the most widely read text in history. Enjoy the Stories of the Bible floor - walk through the stories of the Hebrew Bible, experience the story of Jesus and the New Testament, immerse yourself in first-century Nazareth, and watch scenes of Jesus's ministry from The Chosen in the Galilee Theater. Explore the Impact of the Bible floor - discover the Bible's influence in many familiar though sometimes surprising places—often hidden in plain sight. There are three additional floors with various exhibits for you to enjoy as well. Continuing home after visiting our Nation’s capital, we will arrive approximately 9:00 PM. (CB)
