Historic Elegance with Southern Charm

1st Day: Upon arriving in Charleston, we will go straight to the Historic District. You will be free to shop, sightsee, and have lunch on your own from 1pm (depending on traffic) until 4pm. In the Historic District, you can enjoy fine museums, galleries, boutiques, and restaurants, while experiencing the unique charms of this world-class city. We will check into our hotel in time to freshen up before dinner aboard The Spirit of Carolina. Enjoy an unforgettable three-hour cruise and views of Charleston Harbor at night, as you savor a three-course gourmet meal, table side service and your favorite beverage. This ship features two fully enclosed dining decks, each with its own music and dance floor. The third deck is ideal for viewing starry skies and panoramic harbor views. (D)

2nd Day: This morning, enjoy a Carriage Tour of Historic Charleston. There is no better way to experience Charleston’s ambiance and charm than a carriage tour through the streets of America’s most historic city. See and hear over 300 years of history, with our guide, as you are led through 3 miles of the historic district by beautiful Belgian Draft Horses. Lunch is included in historic Charleston. After lunch, we will head for home. Arriving back approximately 7:30 PM. (CB, L)
