Our Drivers

A letter from our Vice President of Operations:

To Our Customers,

The Holiday driving staff meets or exceeds all Federal Department Of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration standards in regard to motorcoach operation. Each of our applicants is given a pre-employment DOT physical, and drug test before beginning work. Our drivers must maintain required DOT qualifications for commercial drivers including active physical, MVR check, and random drug testing.

In addition to Federally required standards each Holiday driver is subjected to thorough background checks including work, credit, and criminal history.

At Holiday, we hire drivers that are going to provide you with the safest and most professional experience possible. Each driver has a CDL license and is experienced before employment with Holiday.

Before each driver starts working for Holiday, they must complete a week long training program that is both classroom and on-the-road experience intensive to give our drivers the knowledge and skills to provide you with the best experience. After completing our training class, drivers are partnered with a more senior driver to begin actual assignments and are carefully assigned to trips to slowly increase their skill level. All of our coaches feature two way radios that aid in the bus-to-bus communication on multiple bus assignments.

Regular Safety meetings include customer service, coach operation & safety training. All customer trips are surveyed following completion and this information is used as a training tool.

For the last six years Holiday's driving staff has maintained an impressive 3.93 score out of a possible 4.00 on thousands of trips!

Customer satisfaction has long been a Holiday trademark.
